Advanced Cancer Research: Driving Global Progress in Oncology Through Openness, Rigor and Innovation

Amid the accelerating evolution of global cancer research and clinical practice, oncology is undergoing a profound scientific transformation: shifting from a single discipline to multi-dimensional interdisciplinarity, moving from classical mechanism research to precision medicine and intelligent decision-making, and transitioning from laboratory innovation to the optimization of clinical protocols. Meanwhile, the academic publishing sector is at a critical juncture where Open Access and academic sharing are accelerating integration. Against this backdrop, Advanced Cancer Research has been launched — with a more open dissemination model and a more inclusive publishing vision, it undertakes the mission of advancing global oncology knowledge.

ISSN: 3106-0382 (Online)

Advanced Cancer Research is a fully open-access, online-only international academic journal. Its editorial board consists of international experts active in cancer research, clinical translation, and precision medicine, adhering to the editorial standards of rigor, innovation, and academic integrity in equal measure. The journal will be published quarterly, and all Article Processing Charges (APC) will be fully waived from 2025 to 2027. This initiative aims to promote knowledge sharing and ensure that high-quality scientific achievements benefit a broader global readership.

By nature, oncology is an interdisciplinary field spanning biology, clinical medicine, engineering, and data science. Advanced Cancer Research warmly welcomes submissions of original research that offer profound mechanistic insights, innovative methodologies, or a systemic understanding of cancer. Our goal is to benefit cancer patients worldwide by accelerating the translation of scientific discoveries into clinical applications. The journal covers a wide range of research topics, including but not limited to:

Cancer molecular mechanisms and signal transduction

Precision medicine and targeted therapy

Tumor microenvironment and metastasis

Immunotherapy and synthetic biology

Cancer genetics and epigenetics

Applications of emerging technologies in cancer research (e.g., multi-omics, liquid biopsy, organoids, etc.)
